VX220 Track Diffuser
 
Our track diffuser has been designed with one goal in mind, to be the most effective rear diffuser available for the VX220. We have spent over 18 months developing and testing a number of different variations of the diffuser on the track to make sure that the diffuser is working as well as possible. We have seen some amazing results on circuit allowing cornering speeds to be much higher.
 
At Donington Park we measured 125mph down craner curves! for reference a Radical SR3 will do cira 135 mph on slicks.

We can see excellent attachment all the way to the trailing edge of the diffuser across the entire trailing edge because we have solved the issue of the tyre wake interupting flow in the outer tunnels. Most diffuser designs concentrate on making the outer tunnels large however the wake from the tyres disrupts the flow and if this isnt resolved it almost renders them useless.  
 
We have designed our diffuser to have the cleanest underside possible, the way we assemble the diffuser means all the connection points are above and are connected via coundersunk pop rivets much like you would see on an aeroplane. This means the underside of the diffuser is smooth as possible so it wont disrupt the air flow whilst still being modular so any damaged parts can easily be replaced.

Our Track diffuser is large! we have made it so it starts nearly 450mm further forward than a standard one to make sure the curve can start as early as possible. As such the original undertray will need modifying to allow the diffuer to be bolted on. 

All our diffusers are powdercoated black using an industrial strength powdercoat making them very durable.
