VX220 Switch Panel
Installation Guide

Remove the smaller dash panel from the dash, this is usaully held on with velcro or double sided sticky tape​

Remove the switch panel unit by pressing these 4 tabs down and pulling towards you

Unplug the switch panel from the loom

Green = Side Lights
-
Blue = Dipped Beam
-
Black = Rear Fog Lights
-
Brown = Front For Lights
-
Large Black = Hazard Lights
-
Once the panel is free from the loom you need to remove the individual switches fom the housing, to do this press down on the two silver tabs and the switch should slide out of the holder.

You need to modify your holder to be able to fit the new switches in place.

On the top face you will need to cut a V which is for the nut

On the back you need to open the hole up right to the edges to allow the switch to pass through

Take your new pre-assembled switch panel and push it into the holder.

The edges of the holder will slightly bow outwards, this is by design so when the unit is clipped back into the dash it uses a clamping action to hold the switch panel in place.

Connect each of the switch looms provided
Note* these are delicate and will go on fairly easy, if they are tight do not persist, seperate the plug and wiggle the plug onto the back of the switch to help align the connectors, do this in the same direction as the pins, do not wiggle across them as pins will bend. -
Black lines have been added to aid orientation of the switches
*** DOUBLE CHECK THE ORIENTATION OF THE HAZARD LIGHT PLUG, MAKE SURE THE 3 PINS LINE UP CORRECLTY WITH THE LOOM SIDE! FAILURE TO DO THIS MAY RESULT IN BLOWING THE RELAY.

Connect the new 3D printed plugs into the corresponding loom plugs and push the wiring back into the void behind the dash
*Some Turbo models have extra sound deadening in this void so it will need removing, in part or in full to allow the wiring to go back far enough so it doesnt push the panel out.

Make sure the switch holder clicks into place and then you are free to reattach the dash facia plate.
